SEARCHING OLD WALLS
Stone walls can conceal small fortunes.
For searches involving old walls of underground tunnels, crypts, caves, or old residences, it is strongly advised that you use the super strong wand coil in comparison to the elliptical coil. The wand coil specifically created for this effect (option), permits the user to locate any metal object, with a high degree of accuracy, within the first 12 inches of the wall. With the use of an elliptical coil, you may for example be able to find two old nails at a depth of 4 or 6 inches, any trace of them disappear at the surface, produces an echo comparable to an important target which may be mistaken as a good target.
The wand coil, much finer and precise, works similar to taking a radiograph that gives the position and form of each echo so that one will not be mistake. For example, a round or rectangular form, that can very well be a container or a small coffer behind a stone or brick can contain valuable items. In theory, ones starts by detecting with an elliptical coil, you mark each echo and than use the wand coil to go over each echo to determine size and volume, in 90% of the cases this prevents making holes for nothing or to discover a wire ending, electric wire, nails, points (what old walls are strewn together with) or an old drain. If a target is detected with the elliptical coil but not with the wand coil this probably means that the aforementioned target is located very deep into the wall and is thus very interesting to investigate. One works quickly without causing damage and decides to perforate it when there is a good possibility of making a beautiful discovery.
The old walls conceal unsuspecting riches; do not lose the opportunity of making beautiful discoveries.
10 large gold coins, 37 grams each, were contained in a small iron box (Mexican Centenarios), located in a wall behind a stone thanks to the wand coil. The value of this lucky find: more than 5,000 dollars.
Method: A rapid search was first conducted with the elliptical coil in order to localize the targets, followed by a radiograph using the very precise wand coil in order to eliminate nails and points and excavating for nothing.
