GOLD NUGGETS-GOLD DUST- ALLUVIAL GOLD

River prospectinga real fortune at your finger tips

River prospecting work should be divided into two stages of localization because alluvial gold is generally found in very fine particles. Thru the years, centuries and millenniums, rivers and streams have transported thousands of tons of sediment which for some, also transport gold lots of gold!

Gold is a very heavy metal and it is always associated with land slides with denser soil , known by people in the business by the name of black sand.

In any river bed there are a multitude of traps (crevices, sharp turns in the river, ect) in which the heavy alluvial elements are concentrated such as pyrites and gold nuggets. We should not forget that the river streams change with time and that others disappear entirely, but their sites can be located thru aerial photography or other terrain investigative methods.

The most effective and convenient method to look for alluvial gold is to first locate banks of black sand, as  these areas are easy to locate, there are many of these and they are a lot easier to locate than gold.

The specialists use magnetometers such as the Deepers Mag 505 to find banks of black sand that offers excellent results

Once you have localized the concentrations of black sand, you can examine the alluvium material quite rapidly using a wheel barrel. In some concentrations, gold is found immediately, if present, due to its brilliant golden color which makes it very evident.  Recuperating gold from such alluvial areas is quite simple using any type of qualifying density system (sluice, ladder, coconut fiber, panning, ect). With this method you can localize very quickly enormous deposits of gold with out having to search thousands of tons of sterile alluvial soil.

Gold prospector in the river

In various regions of the world such as Brazil, Columbia, Peru, Guyana, Mexico, Zaire and some places in the United States and Canada you can find very good size gold nuggets, of 300 grams or more, totally isolated from the main stream river beds due to shifting.

For this reason, we always recommend also using an Deepers 10 DD with elliptic search coil  Doble D (DD)for this type of alluvial terrains.

With these methods, some of our prospectors have made incredible fortunes using our detection equipment, which go straight to the spot.
